Academic Excellence

Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to nurture young minds and prepare them for a bright future through innovative teaching methodologies and holistic development.

Our Academic Programs

Creche Program

Our creche program provides a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years. We focus on sensory development, early communication skills, and motor skills through carefully designed activities.

Our caregivers are trained in early childhood development and maintain a low child-to-caregiver ratio to ensure personalized attention. The environment is sanitized regularly and equipped with age-appropriate learning materials.

Nursery Program

Our nursery program serves children aged 3-4 years and introduces structured learning through play-based activities. We focus on developing social skills, language acquisition, creativity, and early numeracy.

The curriculum includes circle time, story sessions, arts and crafts, music and movement, and outdoor play. We use thematic units that change monthly to keep children engaged and excited about learning.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten program for children aged 5-6 years prepares them for primary education through a balanced curriculum that develops literacy, numeracy, scientific thinking, and Social & Citizenship Studies.

We use a phonics-based approach to reading, hands-on mathematics manipulatives, and inquiry-based science activities. Children learn to work independently and in groups, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Primary Education

Our primary program (Grades 1-6) follows the Nigerian National Curriculum enhanced with international best practices. We focus on building strong foundations in English, Mathematics, Sciences, Social & Citizenship Studies, and Nigerian Languages.

We incorporate technology integration, project-based learning, and critical thinking exercises across all subjects. Our assessment methods are comprehensive, including continuous assessment and end-of-term examinations.

Our Teaching Methodology

Child-Centered Approach

At Noble Stars Academy, we believe that every child is unique with individual learning styles and paces. Our teachers employ differentiated instruction techniques to cater to diverse learning needs.

We create learning experiences that are engaging, challenging, and appropriate for each child's developmental level. Our classrooms are designed to encourage exploration, curiosity, and a love for learning.

We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention and meaningful teacher-pupil relationships. Our teachers act as facilitators, guiding children to discover knowledge rather than merely transmitting information.

Technology in Classroom

Technology Integration

We recognize the importance of technology in modern education. We have started introducing the use of laptops, tablets, and computers to enhance learning experiences.

pupils learn digital literacy skills from an early age, including responsible use of technology, coding basics, and digital technological tools. We have started employing the use of computer-based tests and online resources to supplement traditional objectives question and answer sheets.

Our teachers are begining to receive regular training on integrating technology effectively into lessons. We maintain a balanced approach, ensuring screen time is purposeful and complements hands-on learning activities.

Project-Based Learning

We incorporate project-based learning across all grade levels to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. pupils work on extended projects that address real-world problems.

Projects-assignments are interdisciplinary, connecting multiple subject areas and allowing pupils to apply knowledge in meaningful contexts. pupils present their work to authentic audiences, building confidence and communication skills.

Our teachers design projects-assignments with clear learning objectives and assessment criteria. pupils receive guidance throughout the process while maintaining ownership of their learning journey.

Leadership Development

We have a pupil government system where elected representatives learn democratic processes and leadership skills. Our prefect system recognizes responsible pupils who serve as role models. We organize leadership courses to develop empathy, responsibility, and civic engagement.

Assessment & Evaluation

Continuous Assessment

We use ongoing assessment methods including first and second continuous assessment tests, classworks, and assignments/projects. This approach provides regular feedback to pupils and parents about progress and areas for improvement.

Terminal Examinations

End-of-term examinations assess cumulative learning and preparedness for advancement to the next level. These are conducted under standardized conditions to ensure fairness and accuracy in evaluation.

Progress Reporting

Detailed progress reports during open day and in pupils' report cards keep parents informed of pupil achievements and next steps.
